Determination of ethylene in vent gases

The purpose of determining ethylene in the oxychlorination process is to minimize ethylene losses by feedback control of C2H4 / Cl2 ratio in the oxychlorination reactor. The on-line analyzer system uses a selective C2H4 measurement by means of multi-wavelength infrared with automatic optical span possibility.
